
About the Program
This qualification equips learners with the knowledge and skills to safely work at height. It covers legal requirements, hazard recognition, equipment selection, safe techniques, and correct use of personal protective equipment(PPE).
Course Coverage
This 1-day (6.5 hours) program includes:
• Understanding Work at Height, local legislation, and responsibilities of employers and employees
• Selection and use of WAH equipment: ladders, scaffolds, MEWPs, roof top access, and risk assessment
• Safe techniques for ladders, steps, rooftops, portable buildings, tower and fixed scaffolds, and MEWP operations
• Correct selection, inspection, and use of PPE, including harness selection, inspection, donning, and safe application

Upon completion, learners will be able to:
• Apply local legislation and workplace guidance for safe WAH activities
• Select and use appropriate WAH equipment for tasks
• Work safely using correct techniques on ladders, scaffolds, rooftops, and MEWPs
• Inspect, select, and use PPE effectively to minimise risks
