About the Program
This qualification is designed for supervisors in the construction industry. It equips learners with knowledge of workforce responsibilities, risk assessment, and safe construction practices. Learners also develop skills to deliver effective safety briefings on-site.

This 2-day (12 hours) program covers:
• Responsibilities of employees, employers, and supervisors in construction
• Importance of health and safety in construction and legal, moral, and financial implications
• Key terminology: hazard, risk, competence
• Risk assessment process, hierarchy of control, safe systems of work, and permit-to-work requirements
• Planning and delivering a 10-minute construction safety briefing
• Practical application of safety inspections, briefings, and supervision onsite
